He served as the Chairman of Local Tibetan Assembly, Bhandara Tibetan settlement for 12 years during his 18 years of service. He was the executive member of the Central Dhomay Association for three terms. He was also the President of All India Tibetan Refugee Trader’s Association.
He is a first timer in the 16th TPiE elected from Dhomey Cholkha. During the 6th session, he was vocal on 1.5 million dollars from Tibet Fund on buying of the office of Washington, DC and took his stand on mass protest by people to Kashag.
His loyalty to his cholkha is obvious from the responsibilities he had taken in Dhomey Association.
